My name is Ryan Ofstad, owner and mechanic at Ofstad Auto & Sport Repair located in Hurley, WI. My repair shop has been open since 2003 but I have been working in this field since 1995.

At Ofstad Auto & Sport Repair I work daily on ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles and automobiles. My work varies from simple maintenance to complete rebuilding of engines and chassis's.

I was recently asked by Rogan Precision Inc and Ryan Kemppainen to test a specialty tool used for removal / installation of ball joints on ATVs and UTVs.

This tool is very well made and easy to use. I can't say enough about the quality of the tool. Replacing tools is a constant cost as a business owner however I can honestly say I do not see that being an issue with this tool. It was easy to use and self-explanatory as far as how to use. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The time, energy and abuse on other tools that will be saved are significant. This tool is definitely worth the investment and something I will be using for a longtime.

I was working on a minivan with a broken stuck ABS sensor. I worked on it for a half hour to an hour and couldn’t get it out. I was testing with the OFF TRACK tool and was able to use the Blindside remover to remover the almost impossible Broke off sensor. I had to hit slide hammer many times and very hard. The tool took the beating with no problem.

Looks like a very good setup. I like that your kids can operate it.

I like the fact that a seemingly impossible job for the young kids is now possible. Just wait until a professional ATV shop mechanic gets a hold of this tool!
